School Council

Our School Council

School council consists of two elected pupil representatives from each class, who meet together every fortnight to discuss and make decisions about aspects of the school. School council has a Chairperson, who makes sure that everyone gets a chance to share their viewpoint and a Secretary, who helps to set the agenda by liaising with pupils from class council.

School Council has been responsible for the following:

- Girl’s football has now been introduced and takes place every Wednesday.
- A Reflection Zone has been requested and is now being created in every classroom.
- School council has also been involved in raising money for charities, such as Bluebell Woods Hospice, Blue – Peter’s Send a Smile – and money has also been sent to Father Francis in Uganda.
- Wake-up Shake-up is now held every fortnight, to keep fitness levels high.
- All classes have worry boxes, so that they let staff know about any worries they may have.
