Welcome to St Marie’s Catholic Primary School
St Marie’s is a Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School within the Diocese of Hallam. It is situated on Fulwood Road and surrounded by beautiful woodland. Our thriving community has 230 pupils on roll and provides a high standard of education for children between the ages of 4 and 11.
The school has excellent facilities including a large playing field, woodland, environmental area, separate playgrounds for infant and junior children and an all weather pitch. Through the hard work and support of the Home School Association, many social and fund-raising events are held which help to provide extra equipment, resources and experiences for the children in the school.

School Aims
The aim of St Marie’s is to provide the children with a high standard of education that will fulfill their spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs.
The School strives for the highest academic standards but also believes education should go beyond the academic. As a Catholic school we aim to build a community based on gospel values, which involves a respect for self, respect for others and respect for the environment.
