St Marie's Catholic Primary School, St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School and St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School are church aided schools in the Diocese of Hallam and are maintained by Sheffield CYPD. This means that the members of the Parishes and the Diocese of Hallam have contributed towards the cost of building the schools and continue to care for their buildings and their people.
Each School provides distinctive Christ-centred, Catholic education for children aged 4+ to 11+ years, with priority being given to children who live and worship within the feeder parishes as identified in Parish/Diocese page on this website. They are Voluntary Aided Schools in which the Governing Bodies are responsible for admissions. The Governing Bodies are guided in that responsibility, by the requirements of law, by advice from the Diocesan Trustees and their duty to the Catholic community and the common good.

Help children achieve their own individual potential through the provision of a curriculum.
Each child has a divine beginning and an eternal destiny. We help him or her on that journey.
Ensure that children have high self-esteem and demonstrate this in the respect they show for themselves, others and the environment in which we live.
